The company replaced its iPhone5 with not one, but two new devices: iPhone 5S and 5C. While 5S is deemed as Apple’s most advanced phone of the year, 5C comes with a range of colors, at a mid-ranged price.
Adding to it, iOS7, Apple’s next operating system will be officially released world-wide on September 18. The new OS packs an array of surprises which will sky rocket the flagship device to an advanced, next-gen mode. And on September 20, 5S and 5C will be up for grabs in U.S, Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Japan, Singapore, and UK. By the end of 2013, Apple promised to make these brand new devices available across 100 plus countries.

Read ahead, to know more about the exciting new features that are set in store with iOS7, iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C.

iPhone 5S
“iPhone 5s is the most forward-thinking Smartphone in the world, delivering desktop class architecture in the palm of your hand,” says Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing. The device show-cases three key features like the 64-bit A7 chip, an improved 8MP iSight camera, and Touch ID fingerprint sensor. The phone starts at $199 for 16 GB, $299 for 32 GB, and $399 for $64 GB. An additional leather case for the phone costs $39.
The environmental friendly and recyclable iPhone 5S is made of high-quality aluminum casing, with diamond chamfered edges and comes in three finishes: gold, silver, and space gray. This fine finishing makes 5S stand out as an expensive accessory to carry.

Why iPhone 5C Won't Be Welcomed In India

All About Apple's Latest iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C:

Apple’s latest handset, the low cost iPhone 5C is depicted as the company’s bet to capture price sensitive markets like India. But will it get warm reception in the subcontinent?

The Cupertino giant was the second highest revenue grosser in Indian Smartphone market and was fifth when it came to volume in last quarter of 2012, indicating that the country held promising future for Apple. Many analysts predicted that a cheaper iPhone can turn the table for Apple to take up with rivals like Samsung which held first spot both in revenues and in volume in Indian Smartphone market in past quarters. The release of iPhone 5C is supposed to do that job for Apple.

The device will make Indian debut by end of this year, however contrary to its being called “cheap iPhone,” the handset indeed will compete in the mid-range Smartphone market.  The unlocked 16GB version of the iPhone 5C will be available for $549 (about Rs 34,700) in the US, while the model in China would be priced at $729 (about Rs 46,000). And since iPhones have been usually priced 20 percent more than the unlocked price in U.S., it will cost anywhere near 40,000 in India.
